What is 'Gansu'? It is a product made by mixing fish mince and onions with spicy chili peppers, then coating them in breadcrumbs and frying. The name comes from the Hiroshima dialect word 'gansu' (meaning '~is' or '~are'). At Kusatsu Oyster Hut, we sell our special Gansu stuffed with oysters (¥400). Please try this unique Gansu stuffed with oysters that you can only taste here! It's so delicious! Perfect as an appetizer for alcohol, it pairs excellently with draft beer.
